Psychologist (Educational & Developmental Registrar)

Isobel Stokes is a registered psychologist with Endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology. This means Isobel is trained to work with people across the lifespan using a relational, holistic approach to help clients build meaningful relationships and navigate change. Isobel works with adults, teens, and families who are working through changes and challenges in their lives. She hopes to help people gain a truer understanding of themselves and find meaning in their journey by improving their sense of well-being.

• Endorsed Educational and Developmental Psychologist
• Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists inc (AAPi)
• Registered as a Medicare provider of psychology services

 Clinical Background

Isobel has a background of working with pregnant and new mothers, children, and their families, teenagers, and adults for over 10 years. Isobel has always been passionate about early intervention, equality, and seeking to understand people’s wider environment to provide personalised treatment. Through her experience in the Psychology field, Isobel has always valued helping people navigate change at significant periods in their lives. Isobel believes that everyone is capable of creating new patterns and change, and enjoys being able to sit with people when they need support and guidance. Outside of her work, Isobel enjoy exploring the outdoors and National Parks. She enjoy caring for my plants, listening to books, and spending time with her dogs, Rudi and Oakleigh.
